Welcome to Velohawk (the "Website"), operated by Velohawk ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing, browsing, or placing an order through this Website, you ("Customer", "User", or "you") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please review them carefully before completing any transaction.

1. General & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern the purchase of all bike storage units, accessories, prototypes, and related products offered across the UAE via this Website. If you do not accept these Terms in full, you must refrain from using the Website or placing orders. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time, with updates taking immediate effect upon posting.

2. Products, Customization & Accuracy

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product images, dimensions, finish specifications (such as gloss, acrylic, or powder-coated metal), and technical capacities (e.g., wheel gaps, frame dimensions) displayed on the Website are accurate. However, minor variations in color, texture, or finish may occur due to photography lighting, screen displays, and natural manufacturing variances. All product weights and dimensions are approximate unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

3. Quotations, Pricing & Payments

All prices are displayed in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) unless specified otherwise, and are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) unless explicitly marked inclusive. Applicable VAT will be calculated and itemized at checkout.

Formal quotations provided directly to customers (e.g., custom sizes, bespoke finishes, or volume orders) remain valid for seven (7) calendar days from the date of issue unless specified otherwise. Prices on custom quotes require explicit written confirmation from our sales team before an order is binding. We accept primary debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) through our secure payment gateway. Full payment is required at checkout before orders enter production or dispatch.

4. Shipping, Freight & Exclusions

Standard product pricing does not include shipping, freight, or white-glove delivery unless explicitly stated during a specific promotional campaign. Delivery fees within the United Arab Emirates are calculated at checkout based on location and volume.

Unless clearly itemized in the product description or added as an optional service, installation hardware and on-site assembly/mounting services are excluded. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that their walls, ceilings, or floor substrates are structurally suitable for mounting Velohawk storage systems and for using hardware appropriate to their specific wall construction (e.g., concrete, hollow brick, drywall).

5. Order Processing & Delivery Timelines

Estimated dispatch and delivery times provided on the Website or via quotation are estimates only and begin once payment verification is complete. While we strive to meet all delivery timelines, Velohawk is not liable for reasonable delivery delays arising from third-party logistics, customs clearance, or force majeure events.

Upon delivery, the customer or an authorized recipient must inspect the packaging for visible transit damage before signing receipt. Any external damage must be noted directly on the delivery note and reported to Velohawk customer care within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.

6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

For standard, non-custom catalog products, returns or exchanges may be requested within fourteen (14) calendar days of delivery, provided the item is completely unused, unmounted, in its original pristine packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

Custom orders, bespoke dimensions, painted prototypes, and specially fabricated units cannot be returned, cancelled, or refunded once production or material procurement has begun.

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within ten (10) to fifteen (15) business days, subject to the issuing bank's standard clearing timelines.

7. Warranty & Limitation of Liability

Velohawk products are backed by a limited one-year structural warranty covering defects in materials and manufacturing under normal indoor residential or commercial use. This warranty expressly excludes:

Damage resulting from improper installation, inadequate wall anchors, or mounting on non-load-bearing surfaces.
Overloading beyond rated bike weight capacities or forcing oversized tire widths into non-compatible wheel gaps.
Normal wear and tear, outdoor exposure (unless certified for outdoor use), misuse, or unauthorized alterations.

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Velohawk's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to your purchase shall not exceed the purchase price actually paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All content featured on this Website—including logos, product photographs, videos, technical drawings, icons, brand names, and website copy—is the exclusive intellectual property of Velohawk or its licensors and is protected by UAE and international copyright, trademark, and industrial design laws. No portion of this Website may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions, as well as any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the local laws of the Emirate where Velohawk is registered (e.g., Dubai or Abu Dhabi). Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.
